Q. How do your toilets work?

Good question. We operate a strict two in two out policy in each of the men’s and women’s toilets. A hand sanitising station is on the right as you enter the signed toilet area. Hand sanitising soap is on all sinks, with hand dryers for drying. Some doors have been removed to limit as much touching of surfaces on the way in and out. During the day we will close the toilets for a short time to allow us to make sure they are kept at a high standard of cleanliness. For safety will ask all patrons to treat the toilet area with respect and help us to keep these areas clean and safe for the benefit of everyone.

Q. What's this about bombs in the pub?

Ha Ha, no we are not going to be bombing the pub, however frustrating the last few months have been. We take our safety and your safety very seriously, and we like to go over and above.

Every 6 days in the toilets and inside area of the pub, to protect everyone, we will be releasing a specialised sanitiser. The propellant sends out a fine mist of powerful disinfecting active ingredients, that disperse throughout the area. The fine mists get to work on contact with every surface, eliminating a wide range of germs, including yeasts and funghi, but mist important is effective against viruses and other harmful microorganisms.

Q. Have you done a risk assesment?

Yes we have. We have a thorough understanding of the government guidelines and have implemented all measures, to make our staff and members of the public safe. You can view here Risk Assessment

Q. Have you got a marquee in the garden we can go in if it rains?

Hi, yes we have, but with no sides, to allow for adequate and safe ventilation. We have a few tables inside with effective social distancing  measures in place. If in the event rain tries to stop you enjoying our garden, the marquee is a good, safe usable area. Please note that the marquee is not fully enclosed and may be cold.

Q. Can I bring my own glass?

Hi, you can, but we will not be able to serve you in it. You are welcome to pour from our disposable glass that we will serve you in. Please make sure that you take your glass home with you.

Q. How will you be operating garden drink & food?

We will be operating a pay and collect system from the marquee, we will not be providing table service. Food and drinks to be ordered from the bar at the front of the marquee using our queuing system along the fence.

We will issue all customers who have ordered food a pager after paying. The pager will vibrate and make a noise when your food is ready to be collected. Collection point is next to the bar. Please return the pager for us to clean and sanitise ready for the next customer.

All food and drink will be served in disposable containers with disposable cutlery. Please use the bins provided to dispose of your rubbish before leaving.

Q. Can I book an inside table for more than 6 people when you re open?

Hi. Unfortunately this is not allowed currently with the current government rules. It is also not allowed that multiple tables are booked for numbers over 6 (unless from one household), as it would be seen that our establishment is encouraging a gathering to take place.
